I'm riggin my boat and need to determine where to drill thru my transom for my drive indicator cables that go on the trim cylinders.
Could a few of you post any transom photos of boats with bravos. I have a good idea where I want to place them, and I have several photos of were they were withe TRS drives. Some photos would be helplfull. Thanks, Dan Here's my clean slate |

Hey!
Thank you all for posting the photos! These photos will be Extrememly helpfull. I'm pretty nervous about drilling the holes for the indicator cables, almost mor than the transom asseembly cut outs! Hey Insptech! In the first picture of the Formula Those are the stainless double o-ring seals for running the cable thru the transom, right? I bought those and was worrired that with the 45* angle I'd have to place them too low, and not leave enough slack in the cable for the drive to move around. Any problems? Here's what I have. |
Re: Transom photos with twin bravos.
Zanie, the 45's are by for the most popular fittings used these days for routing cables through the transom.
They'd be my choice. |
Re: Transom photos with twin bravos.
The indicators on mine work great, no binding or jerking. I think it is the setup Formula used when they built it.
