lonseal glue?
I need a small amount of glue(less than a quart) that is good to use on lonseal. They only sell by the gallon. Any recommendations of other brands?

Re: lonseal glue?
I believe it's just contact cement, any home improvement store should carry some. Get the non-water soluble kind.

The sales rep told me I could buy their contact cement or their epoxy. He said the epoxy is hard to work with because once you put the floor on it it will not lift up or move so you would have to be perfect the first time. I elected to go with his contact cement (that's what they called it) so that I would have more work time with it. After using it I would guess that it is just contact cement, the stuff looks like contact cement, sets up like contact cement and smells and has the consistency of contact cement. It may not be contact cement but good contact cement is what is used to hold carpet down, why wouldn't it work on the lonseal? |
