Houchin's on Taylorsville Rd may rig for wet running. He is an excellent tuner for blowers or NA engines.

Meers in Buffalo, KY just SE of E-town may have the ability to run wet on his.

Butch Smith in Lawerenceburg may be another choice he has a new SF and may be able to wet test.

Skytower down around Somerset may also be able to test wet.

Hope that helps.

So Chris there is really nobody in Ky that is set up to do the marine engines :( How about someone in a surrounding state???

I would think if there not use to doing the marine engine like with the wet exhaust, sea water pump and run it at the norm temp that it would run in a boat that the tune up and #'s would be off some???Most car dyno guys run the thermostat on the dyno and the engine runs warmer than it would in the boat. I guess it depend if the motor runs a thermostat??Like most car dyno shops Ive been to run it at 160-180+ in temp

Re: dyno shop

Rob,
It's been 5 years since I worked in Louisville, KY but to my knowledge there wasn't a real demand for wet testing so almost no one had the capability to do it. The guy that did, Herrick's Race Engines, shut down around 95 or '96. That Cell was plumbed for wet testing.

The Ohio River/KY and Barkley/ and Cumberland all have some fast boats but most of them that I ever had any contact with all had power from out of state. Shops in the coastly areas seem more likely to have a cell plumbed for wet testing.

So I guess he is going to have to drive north, east or south to find something close. With gas prices it might be cheaper to ship it :(
