Any one know what this factory switch is for?

The boat is a 1990 Pachanga 22. I have owned the boat for 8 years and have no idea. Wires run to it out of a factory loom. I looked in the owners manual with no luck.
The plastic housing dosent move and it would be hard to move the switch with your fingers. Yes I have played with it with the engine running and nothing

The switch that's shrouded? If so, it looks like it may be a kill switch.

It's missing the plastic loop that hooks around the toggle. But it is a kill switch. My '87 22' Pachanga didn't have that. Owner added?

And currently it's just a secondary ignition switch. :D

i think it triggers the passenger ejection seat :evilb: , it looks like a kill switch as stated above, its not often you find a switch shrouded like that.

That I what I thougth it was but it does nothing when the engine is running. Its is a factory switch. You would think it would be in the owners manual. I thought someone might have a Pachanga and can tell me 100% sure that it is a kill switch.
If not I think I will hook it up as a wife ejection switch :drink:

Yes, what they said. I never saw one mounted on a horizontal surface. I have the same type but mounted vertically.

If it is a factory kill switch, it should have purple wires in/out (ignition) Otherwise it was added by a previous owner and may be anything. What color wires go to it?

If it doesn't shut-off the engine, it may be bypassed due to failure.
