Help - Imco Upper to Bravo HP Bell Question

I just went to bolt my Imco SC drive to my Bravo HP bell housing and the Imco Water plumbing for the Drive shower hits the bottom tab of the bell housing. Looking at the Imco catalog, it looks like Imco's version has the bottom inch cut off their bell housing to make it fit. Can I cut the lower inch off my Bravo HP bell housing without hurting anything?

you are right. you have to cut the bottom of the bell housing to install the imco upper.

Thanks for the replies - I verified with IMCO today who also confirmed what you're saying. I trimed the bottom 2 inches off today and the drive fit like a glove - thanks.
