Indestructible Sea Pump Impellar?
Any of you guys running this dry-run technology impellar kit from Trick Marine? Have you run it dry? This would sure save alot of PITA if it is real.

http://www.trickmarine.net/productde...?productid=907 The Fountain of Youth/Konrad race boat has some time on theirs I'm sure. We ran the kit on a parasail boat out of Myrtle Beach that has 1400 hours without an impeller change. |
Re: Indestructible Sea Pump Impellar?
That impeller has been around for many years it was first distributed by Barco which has since been bought Globe. You can get them to fit just about any pump made, the perfect combo is the Merc bronze pump and that impeller. The trick pump does not appear to have a S/S liner if so aluminum goes to hell to quick.

The impeller is not a Globe as implied by Phil. One year warranty on impeller five year warranty on the remainder. I've sold a ton of these. Zero impeller replacements. One customer with 1400 plus hours in salt water use. |

Will this fit the Merc seawater pump that has the fuel pump attached?

Re: Indestructible Sea Pump Impellar?
What do you guy's think of running a Globe blue Impellor in a Jabsco Bronze pump ? That pump body from trick resembles a Keith Eikert model. It probably is less prone to hi-rpm cavitation.
A while back I was told that the Globe impellors "lay over" at high RPM. Is this known to be true ? BBB |
