Beside the obvious reduction in drag, what are the +/- about removing some of the lower unit skeg ??

more speed less control, look at the old race footage alot of the #3 boats that cut the skeg all the way off. since those were considered the days of real men racing, then one must assume that control is for wussies :D and speed is for real men :evilb:

"Real Men Don't Need No Skegs" Well yeah, but that quick, unexpected "180" at speed with family and friends aboard will give you a clue of why the factory put them on there. And it was not just to save props for idiots that don't know how much water they are running in. --- Jer
