solvent for dissolving bellows glue
 
I am changing my bellow on some bravos I have the old ones off how do I remove the old glue is there a solvent for disoving it.

I've found laquer thinner to be the best solvent on a myriad of stuff.

and if that doesnt work, try lighter fluid. It makes the glue ball up and fall off.

Laquer thinner or carb cleaner works well.. J :)

thanks guys looked in my manual (clymer) last night and tehy recommended laquer thinner

You'll be surprised at what laquer thinner will remove. Once I was trying to strip old sealer off some tile. I bought this high dollar, supposedly bad ass sealer remover that you had to wear rubber glove etc. It didn't work worth a chit! I bought a $3 can of laquer thinner, and it came right off.

carb cleaner will also work as will 3m adhesive remover
