HP500EFI sea water pump
 

Just changed my sea water pump housing and impeller as part of routine maintenence. Noticed that the new impeller that came in the kit has 8 blades on it, while the old one had 10 blades. I bought the kit through Bam, so I am assuming all is correct, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and if they noticed a change in water temp or service life?
