What gear drive ratios are available for the XR.And what effect would they have on prop pitch???

Re: Drive ratios

1.36 and 1.50 you most likely would best go with the 1.50

I just changed from 1.36 to 1.50 and the boat is more responsive.

There is about 2 inches of prop pitch between the two. I was running 28" props on the 1.36 and now I am running 30" props with the 1.50

Re: Drive ratios

Actually I have gained 2 mph and feel that there is 2 mph left by spinning my props in, which I am going to try this weekend.

By changing ratios I am getting the motor to spin more revs closer to max rpm, which is also based on boost levels.
