496 ho oil leak

oil leak starboard engine port side rear.what could be leaking? i put an oil absorber rag down and did not see any oil until i came back from a run.its not visual from where its coming from. any guess whats on that side?

:eek: Make sure you check the oil drain hose on the bottom. If it has some age on it the orings are prone to leak.

what kind of boat, we had a lot of the oring problems as john stated also on fountains they added a different oil press pick up and had many many leak also from all the way in the back by the remote filter pick up,

you need to be a little more specific year make model

Motor oil?Powersteering fluid? P/S cooler is on that side
