Need help with oil temp sensors

I have a Gen V 454 and need help identifying two sensors.
I have one sensor in the pan rail, that screws into the block. It screws in straight up, and faces straight down, and is along the side of the oil pan. That one has a dark brown wire.
The other one in question screws into the side of the block above where the oil lines come out of the block and go to the remote oil filter and cooler. That one is a tan wire with a light blue stripe.
Which one is the Oil temp sensor, and is the other a warning alarm sensor?
I would appreciate your help.

Re: Need help with oil temp sensors

The sensor that I am trying to find is the oil temp sensor. The one engine has a dark brown wire going to to that sensor in the pan rail. I found out today that the other engine has a black wire going to that sensor. Is that the oil temp sensor wire?
