Procharger M3

Any one here running the m3's .If so have they been reliable.I know that the m1's are good units. When the m3 's came out the had problems with the seals blowing out.
Thanks

Artic Friends How Pounds Of Boost Do You Run At ,what Fuel Presure

Re: Procharger M3

9-10 psi of boost,70 psi fuel pressure with 63 lb injectors. I spoke too soon about the procharger, bearing went yesterday allowing impellor to grind into casing,my own fault though. I called procharger over winter and asked if I should be thinking about new bearings/getting unit rebuilt and they said it should easily run another 100 hours, should have had it done anyways,Smitty

Smitty -

Are they pressed bearings or easily replacable? I may do mine on my M1 just for insurance...

I'm not sure but you would have to extract your impeller off to get to them and its a very delicate piece,Smitty
