..what's the best method, or product?...I have a backyard set that's in dire-need of refreshening...

I use 50/50 Clorox and water with "sponge" to get it clean, when teak gets wet the grain gets pretty soft if you use a brush it will dig into the softer grain. Once dry I do three coats of Thomson's water seal. I have also done this on a few boats with very good results, using the Thomson's eliminates the dark streaking that the teak oils get over time.
