Finished boat now racing in the European 'Marathon' class (long distance endurance racing) now running twin staggered small (3.2 litre) turbo diesels / Bravo XR-ITS

Long distance racing is making a big comeback over here in Europe, ..round in little circles no longer interests the racers. In June this year, we ran the 1500 mile
Round Britain Race again, for the first time in 24 years and got 47 entries!. And the famed Cowes-Torquay-Cowes event was also run again, and is set to continue in the coming years. Long live real Offshore.

Dam sweet looking and lots of work.
The 3A came out about the same time the 5s came out.
Im thinking 8-10 yrs now.
The 3As have the same size gears, bearings, shafts, just a longer X dimension. :drink:

OK, thanks for the info, much appreciated.

What we need now, is some Yanks to come over to Europe and challenge our best in the Marathon series.

The old style long range, open water racing really is VERY rewarding. You certainly feel you've earned a drink at the end of a 250 mile rough race.

Of course, if you don't think ya boats or crews are up to it....:evilb:

cheers
