engine no spark
 

engine turns over put no spark from coil iy has power going in to MSD box but not out. the other day this happened and I pushed in the merc kill switches in and out and it started now it does not matter???? help

Thanks I'll see if my old engine builder can match it :rolleyes: he just charged me $130 for new wires in 98 I PAID $95 BUCKS :eek: THEY ARE MOROSO RACE WIRE SET MAX PERFORMANCE. THE MSDS ARE $85 :rolleyes:

easy swap out out just order check with Mark at BAM or Fred at Trick see if they can beat the price, if your mech buys it he will make money on it

I would rather see a member or site sponser make the money and you should be able to install very easily

Sorry my english is`t that good. Is kill switch the same as lanyard switch? :chimp:

Could it be that the kill switch is connected true the ign key switch, and that the kill switch is defective, and that the the power you are "reading" is the main power. Ie you have no ign. power. (In lack of a better word)

yap picken up the box tuesday to have it over nited would have been nuts so 9am getting it for 5 bucks more and going out for test run in the afternoon or wednesday the wife has plans for the weekend :( with me :eek: :( so no boating, :( until next week and then the inside hyd steering will be going in :rolleyes: if the rest of the stuff comes in :rolleyes:

man I just went out to the boat with new box and tryed to start one more time it had spark :mad: :rolleyes: so I will put the new one in anyway. I hope its not somthing else. also I was told to send box to msd and they can check it, rebuild it?????? anyone here of that. art
