It depends? Carbureted? or fuel injected?. Closed loop fuel injection? or Mechanical? The problem isn't the fuel to air ratio, but the intake charge tempurature. How much boost are you running? Five pounds? Seven? ten??? What is the static compression ratio? 8 to one? 8.5 to one? Are you spinning the blower one to one? underdriving? overdriving? Do you run the engines for long periods on "boost"... There are so many variables to the problem that it's hard to give any kind of an answer.
The leak in the cooler core was probably caused by corrosion and not heat. The heated air coming from the supercharger won't come close to melting aluminum. Possibly you had a backfire under the intercooler that caused the damage.
