Whippled Engine And Salt Water Use

Thinking about droping the boat in the Ocean, pacific to be specific. Always been against it but, it's so much closer than the river.

With my boat being Whippled do I need to do anything special after salt water use as far as special flushing or what extra steps should I take?

I know all of the standard things like really flush the engine good and rinse everthing, even the trailer as well.

Any helpful hints or techniques used?

Flush engine using salt away, spray engine and outdrives down with marine crc this will keep corrison down to minimal on the inside and outside of engine
