no up trim just down

the trim woked fine and all of a sudden i can't trim up.when i press the trim switch down the motor runs and the drive wiil go down.when i trim to go up no power motor won't run.i've got twins both drives the same the swich on the throttle and the three on the dash work all in the down not in the up.i jumped the solinoid hot to blue on both motors then it works but not even unless i run individual.does this mean the blue wire is not hot at the dash could by some chance blew both up solinoids?this is a new boat fountain.

jump the up solinoid (Blue wire) and see if drive goes up if so try bypassing the trim limit swich and try the button if it still goes up its a bad trim limit if it does not put a test light on the out side of the soinoid and have some one hit the button if it lights the its a bad connection or wire if it does not its a bad solinoid

You have twins and neither drive works, it's unlikely in a new boat that both solenoids on two different pumps would be out at the same time. I would look for a loose wire on your dash at the switch. The reason they work individually is because the both switch isolates the two circuits from each other so that when you use the individual switch they don't both work. Run power to the blue wire at your solenoid, not the one going to your pump, the one going to the wiring harness (back to the switch). If it works than your solenoid is good, if not it's bad.

If it's a Fountain, they all have mechanical indicators and most don't use the trim limit switch or a separate trailer button.

i did what JOE stated jumped the solinoid did it to one it worked then i did it to both. both worked but when i trim down they go at diffrent speeds.well solinoid or bad wire from the dash which would be blue.
