u joint life.
I changed my drive and since I have a ITS extension system, I had to change over the long drive shaft that goes into the boat over to the new drive. The ujoints that were on the drive were in good shape but were hard to press out and took a little finness with the hammer to go back in. One of the keepers did not lock in very easy. All turnes well and looks good, Any concernes with how long before changine ujoints on the drive?

Re: u joint life.
Probably should have just installed a new one from the get go, if one of the caps won't lock you might have slighly bent one of the yokes during disassembly/assembly process or one of the many bearing in the caps fell over and not letting the cap fully seat.

Re: u joint life.
If the yoke was bent just a little would that cause any problems?

Re: u joint life.
Most likely not but you need the lock clip in place or the u-joint may come apart which won't do your bellows or yokes any favors...

I had the one keeper that was not easy going in. Onc it is in, what are the chances of it poping out?
