Looking for a thermo switch??
I need a thermo switch that will close a set of contacts at around 190*-200*.. perferable with 1/8" pipe thread..
Any idea where I might find one?? Auto suppliers have limited resources for looking up other than application.. What kind of car is it?? Drives me nuts!! Any help would be appreciated! Dick |

What you probably want is a thermostatic fan switch.
You know, the ones they use in cars to turn the electric fans on. I think a KEM RF3 might be in your temp range (at least that's what I found on the internet). Paul |

just curious ( im always asking stupid questions, thats how I learn ...besides my dad always said the only stupid question is the one that isnt asked, )

Hey thanks guys.. I will check them all out in the morning.. Sorry I didnt respond sooner. I spent the evening boating for a change.. I was actually on the water tuning my new EFI, (that I built).. Kinda cool now that it is coming together. Wont have my WB O2 sensor back from Innovate till Tues.. then I will know if my fuel map is close. Till then I am taking it easy. I did have it to 5krpm at one point... :D :D :D

I use pre-set thermo switches in my business. They will switch aproximately 5-8 amps @ 220VAC-120vac and lower d,c, If these will work for you I will send you some no charge as you have helped me in the past.
