Twin I/O Power Steering units
1 Attachment(s)
I need your help! How do I plumb power steering on each motor? I've already done it but, I have fluid shooting out of the second resivoir when only one motor is running. Is the only way to plumb this is to have just one resivor??
Thanks for your help Jud Shoup (970) 376-3704 |

Heres a quick drawing of what I have for hydraulic steering lines. Hopefully this makes sense.

I cant seem to turn this right side up. You may have to print it out. Hope it helps.

Re: Twin I/O Power Steering units
if using two pumps you need to install a check valve/metering block

Re: Twin I/O Power Steering units
2112 - Thankyou, I had everything correct except I only need one resivor tank ??? I actually have the Keith Eckert Pumps so the plumbing into the pumps is a little different. Then I have check valves in line on the pressure out of the pumps before they Tee together and go into the steering valve. I see that I might also need a Hose Manifold Assembly or a metering block ???
GOODT Does the metering block reduce the pressure when running two pumps or is it like a check valve for flow direction control Thanks Jud Shoup (970)376-3704 |
Re: Twin I/O Power Steering units
See the link in this post for the valve block you need.
