Need some drive "help"
 

I am having issues getting the drive in forward and reverse. I am able to put in into gear if I force it manually but not from the throttles. I check the throw on the throttles and they are write where they are supposed to be, write where I was able to manually. I pulled the drive and it seems to work as expected, easily moving the cable. So I narrowed it down to the drive.

What parts do I need to look at? How much am I in for?

First thing I would do is pull the back cap and look at the detent ball.. Is it intact and does it have lots of grease on it? Next look at the shifter mech from the cable attachment to the shift shaft. Then look at wear on the shift shaft and bushings..
