bleeding IMCO steering.

What is the procedure, it just feels like there is air in the line, i'm not low on fluid so wtf?

I had no troubles bleeding mine out. It bled by itself by running the engine and turning the wheel a few times. But, just to make sure, I had someone turn the wheel while I cracked the fittings loose by the rams.

I just turned the wheel lock to lock until it smoothed out. Make sure that the reservoir stays full. I never cracked any lines to make sure.

What, Louie put Imco Hydraulic steering on your boat??? :eek: :evilb:

What do you feel that makes you think you have air??? What i have done in the past is the same old method for rack & pinion steering on cars. Start the motor that holds the pump turn the wheel back and forth accouple times, leave it at full turn lock position turn the motor off and let itself purge, restart and do again to the opposite side. I know that this is no were to be found in any IMCO trouble shooting but have used this method with good success before.

Or take it to a reputable shop and we'll take care of it for ya... :evilb: :D :drink:
