CARPET.....whats good out there
 

I had bought carpet for my 1972 Cigarette and the pattern was off a bit where the pedastal seats are. The guy told me his pattern was from a later year boat and wasn't interested in doing a new digitzed pattern.

Anyhow, it was 40 oz. carpet with a webed rubber backing. It stuck nice to the floor without the use of glue or snaps. I sent my carpet back for a full refund and am now looking for a new company.

I received some samples from Corinthian and not as good a quality from what I had.

Anyone have any experience ? good or bad.

Try Aquamat, I think they are in Georgia.
If you send them a patern they can make it from that. They made a mistake on the first try but they got it right on the second try. If I remember right it cost about $900.

That is who I used. I sent them my old carpet for a template. It fits 95% perfect. The one snap that isn't exact is behind a bolster and is hard to see. Price was about half of that quoted above and the trew in a throw carpet with the boats name on it.

I sent them my old carpet for a template only I put the snaps in myself and am VERY happy with it. Got the carpet back in a week. Great service

While you are there you can get some nice smelly stuff for the cabin. :evilb: :evilb: :D :D

Actually, we tet our boat towels there. They have giant towels in a bunch of colors that we get the boay name ot logo embroidered on.
