LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU FIND OUT.

I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF GETTING A PIECE OF 1/8 STAINLESS CUT AND POLISHED BUT HAVE NOT FOUND ANYONE THAT WILL DO IT.

I used mirrored plexiglass. Purchased it from a local plastics supply house. It comes in different thicknesses so be sure to get it thick enough to help prevent flexing. I think mine is .25" they should be able to cut it any size you need. Do not glue it to the hatch but use screws. Use a rubber washer between the hatch surface and the plexiglass. If you don't any movement between the two will cause the glass finish to scratch. I think mine cost about $100.00 for a piece about 6' x 4'. I think the plexiglass is much lighter than SS.
Good luck, Dave
