Default Carbon Fiber 496/525 Coolant Reservoir

Am I on crack or did I see somewhere that someone is making or selling carbon fiber coolant reservoirs or carbon fiber reservoir covers for 496's & 525's ?

Maybe I was in a drunken stooper, or maybe it was just a dream...

Ray,

Why would anyone want to show off the ugly snot color off yellow factory reservoir with used tampon off red coolant.

F & M Custom Cowlings makes a polished metal cover but it's more of a shroud.

I need to talk to you about the valve cover wire relocator thinga-majiggers, some new valve covers, and some other look nice things as well.

I swear I saw carbon fiber coolant tanks on the 700's in the grey TG at the dock at Dog Day's last Friday night. Here's what Sunny is using on the F-4.

I found a picture of a 700sci with a carbon fiber power steering reservoir. I know the 600sci has a coolant reservoir does the 700sci have one?

Now thinking logically...

If the 700sci has a coolant reservoir and the steering pump is carbon fiber would the coolant reservoir be carbon fiber as well?

If I could only find a picture of the other side of a 700...

I belive the covers are carbon fiber, not the reservoirs.

It is the angle of the shot. I can assure you those tanks have sight glasses built into the sides. I've been in that engine compartment many, many times.
