Scan results....need help
This is from my one motor that is giving me the 2-beep soft alarm. Can anyone look it over and give me an idea what to look for? I did recently change my broken shift cable ... and it started 2 runs after that cable was changed..

BTW, before the beeps, I did have a bad seawater impeller that did result in an alarm of overheat...that impeller was changed and ran fine until the cable broke. If there is a code indicating overheating, that was when the impeller was bad and was probably in the code history. But that was fixed.

You are running in guardian-90 %-since you didnt give specs on the boat -you have codes indicating that you have issues with your transom harness-If you arent using transom harness than the codes that you get for pitot,steering and trim are normal codes and they will always show up on code history-however the reason you are being limited to 90 % and running in guardian is that you have a code for seawater pump circuit high

you should check all connections at sea water pump and look at the connection good-also I dont know what type of boat you are running but by the looks of things you have more run time 1500 to 2900 rpm's that at any other rpm range-did you buy this boat to idle around or are you gonna start running with the dogs!! jam the throttles forward brother or could it be the boats tooooooooo fast for ya??

Thats the one thats causing your alarm. CKT HI is usually due to open circuit. Start by checking the connector at the sensor for bent pins, water, ect. Dave |

The sensor on the pump is the Sea Water Pressure Sensor. Thats the one you want to check.
Yes, you are at 90% available power, but you can't just clear the code. A fault code that is "Active" is due to the sensor being currently out of range. Even if you could clear it, the fault would reset immediately. Dave |

Problem found!
Pressure sensor clip was broke and fitting was open enough to get moisture inside the connections and corrode. I cleaned it out and tested, all OK. Now all I need to do is get a new sensor and put back together. Thanks to all! Deanna and I have been good. This last year has turned around 180 degrees for us. We are both working way too many hours. Gonna have to force some time off before something breaks. |

I`ll double check that sensor on the pump...did u replace yours and how much was it? tnx |

Thats definitly the problem, as soon as I disconnected that sensor the 2 alarms started up...The connector looked fine ,however...I`ll have to wait and see if alarms come back before I buy a new sensor.
