Ignition Module V8-HP advance??
 

Can anyone tell me what the advance is on a thunderbold IV V8-HP module? Also what the advance curve is (what rpm is full advance)

The Advance Is 24 And I THINK It Kicks In At 3500. Someone Correct Me If I Am Wrong.

The V8-HP module is what is used on HP500's. It gives 20* advance and is at full advance at 3000rpms.

so checking at full advance would give a base of 14 degrees at idle. 34 - 20 = 14.

Running a 454 420 and on the balancer has a notch for 34 degrees

V6 module is 24 I believe.

V6 is 14* advance on a V6 engine and about 10* advance on a V8 engine.

In his book, Dennis Moore references many different combinations of advance modules for TB IV's. Where is a good place to purchase these for reasonable $$$$ ?
