Donzi 25 top speed

Has anyone had any experience with the old 1990 Donzi Regazza hull. I think when i get the engine sorted it will have 490 HP 454. I winder what top end speed i should expect with this. Anyone got any comments on the hull. I have quite thick skin so dont hold back, it is a pleasure boat and looks pretty cool with graphics.

The thing has been doing 60 prior the the latest lot of mods. Was hoping for 65. Jas

Speedo, or gps? A guy I know had about a 375 hp SBC in a 21 Regazza and it hit 60 exactly on the gps.

60 on the gps. That was with about 425 hp i am guessing and a 4 blade. Less with a 3 blade. I guess the extra lift from the 4 makes a difference.
