When adding a 12in imco fixed stand off box should I raise the x dimension?

Sorry the boat is a Htm sr24 and the height is 11 5/8

I'd talk to fellow htm24 owners before doing anything or to the factory,I hear the smaller cats do not respond well to boxes,Smitty
