496 truck block, What is it worth

Long story short

I have a 496 truck block that I acquired in a trade from a GM mechanic. The guy said it had about 3k miles on it and got a valve tap, Thinking it was a motor that he could build up for his chevelle he said he told his service manager it had a rod knock so that the dealer would replace the engine . Some how ( I dint ask ) he got the motor. He shortly found out they dont make much for that engine for a drag car. I found out that he had the motor and traded him a old tire change machine for it. This motor has now been sitting on my engine stand for 2 years.

Well what I have is the complete motor, with the intake and heads off. I have the water pump and some plumbing. I dont have any sensors, wires, or injectors.

Since I blew my motor recently I would like to trade this motor for a 502 block and crank if possible.

Anyone know who might be interested in this motor or preferably a trade??? If I list it in the classifieds, what is it worth.

Crank will be an easy find....A buddy and I are removing 4 stock 502/500hp cranks (entire rotating assemblies) in the next 1-2 weeks. I've been looking for a 502 block for awhile. If your willing to spend about $1,600+ for a new one that may be your only option.
