I have an XR with 23 hours on it that is for sale.

I also sell the only drive with no failures to date. . . EVER.

Give the B1 a chance. I have 2 seasons on mine. Don't hammer it to get on plane and keep the drive in the water. Who knows...you may never have to replace it.

If you stick with your bravo or even upgrade to an XR, make sure to change your gear fluid often...like every 10 - 15 hours. Guys have had great luck by doing this.

I've run my Bravo 1 since 1989 through 4 motors two of which were over 600 HP and ran at over 6000 RPM now I've run the same drive with 800+++ HP all this season with no problems and never once since 1989 have I ever had a problem other than changing a U-Joint. .... YES IT CAN HANDLE IT. BE NICE TO IT. Change the fluids EVERY season. It will be nice to you.

With your luck, you should run out and buy a lottery ticket :D

It depends on the weight of the boat, type of water and like you stated, how you drive.

Try it and see is all I can say. A standard bravo lasted on my 24 Pantera with over 600 HP for 4 years. An XZ lasted 50 hours on my 28 Pantera with 600+ HP

Good luck!!
