High Perf. Engine Parts vs Parts

I'm deciding on the parts for my engine build and the price of the T&D Shaft Rockers is crazy ($ 1,400.00) are they worth the extra $ 500.00 versus Jessel or Crane Shaft Rockers?

Same issue on the crank- Callies Dragonslayor vs Calles Racmaster?

I guess while I'm at it rods - Lunati, Oliver, Eagle?

I'm planning on under 900 HP with an M-3 Procharger.

We have run the Jessel system for the past 4 years with no problems. In fact this is the only thing that has not caused a problem.

Jesel > T&D

I like the decision based on price, but why are the T&D so much more and what is the benifit of the oiling system if Jessel doesn't use it?

Kirk,
I was under the impression that T&D shaft rockers were less expensive and equally as good as Jesels. I am thinking about upgrading to T&D's if I go to a solid cam this winter. By oiling system, I assume you are reffering to spring oilers. If so, the extra supply of oil is to keep the springs cooler thereby increasing their durability

I understand the spring oilers, but the price of T&Ds is $ 1400 verxus about $ 899.99 for Jessels. Do you need seperate spring oilers for the Jessels?

That cant be. Be careful when pricing shaft rockers, they make different grades of rockers. The cheaper ones are not worth it. I am positive if you were to compare comparable T&D to Jesels, you will find Jesels to be more $$$.

Kirk, before I ordered my T&D rockers I looked at Jesels. The 899$ ones are their entry level low grade ones,I think they are called sportsmans. They have different grades, the sportsmans would probably last forever in a hyd roller cam motor but I didn't want to take any chances. I like the fact the T&D's have a spring oiling option. If you buy the middle of the road Jesel's they are close in price to the T&D's,Smitty

these are pedestal type rockers that are far more durable than cranes stud mounted rockers, these are for extreme lift cams, im running .720 lift solid roller i went with the mid grade 1200 buck jesels.
