Looking for Thermostat housing

1 Attachment(s)
I am changing exhuast and now only need one coolant feed per bank. I'd like to change thermostat housings to clean up the engine compartment a little.

Does anyone have a new style freshwater cooling thermostat housing that they're not using anymore and would be willing to sell for a reasonable price?

yep, I'd seen that. I was looking to pay a little less than $160 for a brand new one, when I figure there's got to be a half dozen sitting in peoples garages from upgrades.

Someone sold one used on ebay recently for $50 but i missed the bidding.

thanks

Don't forget, with that housing you need the plastic spacer that holds the t-stat up into the housing.

Nordic, Why are you getting rid of your Stainless pieces?
Also, in the picture of the unit in the post is it upside down?
I might also be interested in one of these bypass units. Does it use a regular t'stat?
Thanks,Dave

The stainless marine ones I purchased are to work with a circulating pump and two exhaust water hoses.I want to change over to a cross over system and cant use the housing I have to do that. They are only 4 months old with only 20 hrs or fresh water use.

Thanks Nordic95

Nordic,
After rereading my post I'm sorry if I gave you the impression I was interested in one of yours. I actually have one of those now and I am concerned about how it works. I have an earlier post about it. I thought you were selling yours because maybe you were also having problems. I'm curious to know if the black unit in the picture uses a regular thermostat ?
Thanks, Dave
