I have 6al's on ours and they have been on the boat for 8 years now with no problems. I also have them on a bracket mounted to the back of the engines. This application is a 38 T/G and it has mild power , probably won't see much air time unless I'm driving in which case thottles are not a worry. We also run our boat out of the tourge range at 6000 rpm and have a 6250 chip in it not quite sure where these are going be at just yet. I just want to set it up safely , he does not have hardly any driving time under his belt.
