HP500 overspeed module??
 

HP 500 ignition has the ignition module & an overspeed module built into the harness. Exactly what does the overspeed module do?? just an rpm limiter? spark control? Timing?

Please help, I want to know before I go the the dyno this week.

It's a rev limiter only. If you want to remove it, you need to get the small wire harness from an earlier Thunderbolt IV (no rev limiter)

Does anyone have the harness for the Thunderbolt IV ignition without the rev limiter?? Need 2 !!

Thanks, I figured with all the MSD conversions there would be a harness around somewhere.....??????
