Rear Motor Mount

I currently have a Merc. race mount on the front of my engine and now am in need of a rear mount for my Konrad conversion project. I have searched Bam and other Merc parts sites and cannot locate one.

Does anyone have the part number or know of a source?

Thanks

I did a Konrad conversion and I used a Hardin Marine.

Re: Rear Motor Mount

Was it the Ace conversion Tyler? What should I watch out for on this conversion?

Did you use the Hardin rear mount with the Merc. race mount up front or use both Hardin for front and rear?

Also, once my engine is built, I may bring it up to you for some final tweeking of the ECU. It's going to be similar to Smittys with less boost. He is extremely pleased with the work you did on his.

Also Rick was very happy with what you did on his Nortec.

Thanks for the info.

Yes it was the ace conversion. Make sure you get the right rotation drive I ended up with a left but it worked out ok because the boat handled better. You can't change the rotation like a Bravo. I used the mount that came on the Merc 525 and then used the Hardin mid plate but if you don't have a front mount use the Hardin. They come with stainless inserts to go thru the plate so you don't elongate the bolt holes. Just let me Know when your ready to dyno the engine we will take care of you.

Re: Rear Motor Mount

If you have a rear mount starter and you install a rear mount plate, you will have to rework or change your bell-housing so the starter will properly engage the flywheel.

Thanks Ben. I have the standard Merc bell housing and starter so i'll need to change it.

Thanks Tyler.

Thanks Kurt. Just collecting my parts before calling Konrad.

What's the lead time on the Ace Drive?
