Main Bearing high performance or standard

Im a´little confused about what kind of main bearing to use in marine application.? Im rebuilding a´454 magnum 365 hp. It will end up with about 450 hp. Can i use the old type Clevite 77 P.serie or should I consider some high performance bearing.?:rolleyes:

Clevite 77 p series will be fine. I have been using them for years in 700hp+ marine motors with no problems.

"Old Type" Clevite is still a great bearing!!
