Help with new boat choice, ?? Scaarb, Top Gun????
 

Guys i am about to embark on buying a new boat. I have looked long and hard and am thinking of a Cig 35 Cafe Racer or a 33 AVS Scaarb, maybe a 38 Gun or 38 AVS if i can get one at a good price. I am open to any and ali advice please. It needs to be fast and lite with a trailer so i can use as a racer and weekend relaxing. Am i looking at the right boat. What about Baga or Fountian or Pantera. Our dollar is .68 of the US and i need international shipping so cost is important. I am thinking 100K US. Thanks. Jason.

i personaly dont like the layups or structureal strength of a baj, i would say for a light weight weekend racer u may wanna look at a fountain or maybe a formula. cigs are typically a lil heavier, so from the trailering aspect it may not be the best, and thats not to knock cig in any way.

Take a look at the active thunder 32 or 37 , awsome boat great lines , fast hull, and as good of performance as you will find. built as good as any and priced well. this is my 32 500hps 86 on gps.

1998 The 33 Scarab AVS won Powerboats "Offshore Performance Boat of the Year" award. 1999 they tested it again with bigger power and said it was even better. They raved about it both years. Good performance on on stock power. Outstanding rough water performance. Decent cabin with plenty of room and fresh water capacity. 8500 lb dry weight. All that is missing is the chicks! You provide.
