Bravo 3 Xr

For two of my customers I'm looking for a new Bravo 3 XR version

With their high torque diesel engines, they keep breaking the "regular" Bravo 3 X version drives

Is the XR version of the Bravo 3 drive a simple swap or does the gimball also need to be replaced ?

Who has actually the best deals ? All info appreciated

Re: Bravo 3 Xr

In general the gimbal housing serial is 0M or above nothing needed. Otherwise there is an upgrade kit, about $85

However as you already have an X drive you are good to go.

What ratio drives do you need?

Hi Marc, thx reply
I don't have those boats in our store right now so I can't confirm the serial numbers, nor the gear ratio's.
But I think 2.0
I don't know how accurate this site still is http://www.mercurymarine.com/_bravo_xr
but only 2.O for the B3 XR should be available? Might also do the trick if customer wants to upgrade to the new B3 XR props (Large 4 blade - smaller 3 blade)
Could he still be using his "old" B3 props??

Please give me your best quote (PM) for the drive and XR B3 props
