Dang cig, you were up early :)
I've got both sides leaking, and I finally noticed that the port side is coming in from up high, in/around the tiller arm. After reading all the swivel shaft/seal leak posts, sounds like the culprit there.
But the starboard side I had a harder time seeing where the leak was actually coming from, so that's something I have to look into. Specially since I've noticed that side sometimes wants to run a little warmer.
Thanks again for the ideas!

Block off plate

Where can I buy an exhaust block off plate for a Merc Alpha transom assy?

I have a brand new Bravo block-off plate for $10 and shipping if they interchange.

Holy Sh*t thats bad. I would'nt let that go too long. Water may be destroying your transom. Usually on the cut out for gimbal housing is bare wood. Unless the rigger coated the opening of the transom with resin you'll be wicking water.
