496 az speed +marine engine upgrade kit?
 
anyone have the az speed + marine engine upgrade for the 496 engines done ? consists of new intake manifold , ecu change , throttle body claim 535 hp on dyno ?

Let's see what you learn- last I recall, that was with dyno headers rather than the factory exhaust- that could be good for a significant portion which you'll never see in the boat- unless you pony for some CMI's etc.

While the factory intake is said to be restrictive, I don't anticipate significant gains from just an intake/throttlebody and remap. Does the remap bump timing and octane requirements? Can Jim remap the 555 or is he changing it over to Mefi 4 (additional cost and perhaps less of a system)

What does the AZ speed and marine upgrade cost compare to the Raylar setup? Which do both start with the 375 or the 425?

I did something similiar with my 502's with CMIs, throttle body, MSD, remapping - didn't see a whole lot for the expense. This was from AZ Speed. It did sound better (headers)
