By the way everyone, Tyler was a pleasure to work with. It's tough for a guy like me, who's used to the Dyno labs at GM where I've got access to every piece of instrumentation imaginable, to get work done in a small shop, but Tyler put up with me, and really made me feel at home. |

nice clean set up, very nice.
Is that going in your powerquest? What speeds are you shooting for? |

Gongrats on your 454 project---500+ foot lbs of torque is great. Yours reminds me of my cousin's 454's with pretty much all stock bottom end. What kind of things/work did you do with the stock rods? Have fun.

Vary Nice Job Bruce!:D
You got more power with those L-29 heads than I would have expected. Are you using stock size valves? You used the stock crank and Hypo pistons; what about the stock 3/8bolt rods? Thanks for posting! |

So, what was the outcome?? What did you see on the water??
My 330 is currently torn down for a freshen-up, and I'm just making some mild modifications. Cam suggestions would be helpful. I'd like to do a little something, but I'm not going crazy - I just want a good reliable motor. I figure after I get everything done on this one and get it back in the boat, I'll start considering something wild to build up, and keep this one as a backup. |
What was the actual air/fuel ratio you ended up with at the lean cruise out of curiosity???
