Higher weight gear oil?

I run Amsoil drive oil in my Bravos now. I'm thinking of running a slightly higher weight oil now that I've upgraded HP, in an attempt to prolong the life of my drives.
What do you think of going to a 75-110 instead of the 75/80-90?

When talking about the new 75w-110 you need to understand where it is coming from. The SAE weight range was adjusted in 2006. The old scale included a 90wt oil as being 13.5 - <24 cSt. The new 110wt is 18.5 - <24cSt. This means that the new 110 may be the same viscosity as your old 90 or possibly less in a few cases.

Here is the new 110: http://www.modernoils.com/svt75w110.html
