Dual vs. Single Ram Hydraulic Steering for Single Drive

Anyone want to give me the pros and cons of using dual ram hydraulic steering vs. single ram for a single drive boat. I've seen both configurations sold by the same hydraulic steering manufacturers.

Thanks!

From a steering perspective, one is enough for "normal" hp applications.

I say, if you are going to make the swap to hydraulic, go for the dual ram. Its a few $$ more, but it will be worth it. There are NO cons with the dual system. Well, except for your wallet.

I have Imco rams and the hardware off my freshwater boat with only 65 hours.

Great deal. Email me at [email protected]
