Exhaust Manifold Torque

What should I torque my exhaust manifolds to? They are Stainless Marine manifolds bolting to iron heads.

Thanks,

28 - 30 ft lbs. Then torque them again after you run the engine and heat them up.

This is gonna sound stupid but.... make them tight, not too tight though..then check em later to make sure they're still tight... :D

I can honestly say I've never torqued an exhaust manifild/header...ever...

There's the by-the-book way, the wrong way and the way that gets er done...
