Looks like a different throttle plate. Raylar told me to increase hole on my standard to 5/16" and it really helped

If you went 496 standard to HO and it surges at idle, check the TPS for .6 volts into the ECU. Adjust if nessary. If it still surges drill out the idle hole on the throttle plate to 5/16 in. It cured my surging issue when I went standard to the HO cam and ECU. Just remember to stuff a rag behind the throttle plate to catch the shavings and use a shop vac to vacuum them as you pull the rag out.

Was it worth the money spent to upgrade the cam and ecm? I've also seen a bigger throttlebody and intake out there would these help as well? These are GM perfornance parts.


Does anyone have any HO ECM's they are looking to get rid of?
