Infinity 6902M 6X9?
 

Guys, I'm looking into putting a system in my old Seavette. Has anyone used the Infinity 6902M 6X9's and what do you think about them. I plan on running 8 6X9's and two 12" subs in the cabin. I want something clean and loud. I have read how good the JL Audio components are but they are out of the price range, unless I can get away with 4 JL's as opposed too the 8 Infinity's.

There is no better speaker than JL Audio. The biggest disadvantage to 6x9 speakers is the lack of quality ones in the marine enviroment. 6.5" and 7.5" are everywhere and with brands like JL, MB Quart and Infinity round is the way to go.

I have a set of the 6902 and a set of the 6 inch round ones. Pretty good speaker for the $$. As you know not as good a JL Audio stuff but I am pretty happy twith hem.

So is the Infinity 6X9 not made the same way as their round 6.5?
