Upholstery order

Any recomendations where I can order upholstery? Are there certain types that last longer? I am looking for 80s colors. It's a 95 208 Baja Islander with purple accents. Any color combos anyone can recommend? I'm thinking purple and neon green.

Thanks

I just ordered 25yds of a sweet marine grade white vinyl from this guy don in FL....sold it to me for $5yd! It feel like very soft leather with a heavy duty backing on it....I also got some blue carbon fiber material for $12yd from him as well and it was also some great stuff...His name is Bob

Thanks for the info, that's a great price. How's the quality?

Wally 04-16-2007 09:19 AM

Quality beats anything i have found at any upholstry styores around here...and they sell the marine vinyl by my house for $12-15yd! I have had no problem sewing the stuff together either....its nice and soft yet the backing material keeps the stiching from ripping through...i like it alot! I was sewing some new covers for my boat project this weekend as a matter of fact....dont remember what the name of the material was but theres an Anchor logo on the backing material if anyone happens to know who that might be....if i remember i will check on it tonight and let ya know in the morning... :)

nautolex! thats it....i didnt get a chance to look at it last night but now that you mentioned the name its exactly that....not sure which line it is but it feels like soft leather..i love it so far and easy to work with. :)
